The opera "Hearing Soma" is a customized production of the Daliangshan International Theatre Festival, and was later selected for the Invitation Unit of the China Opera Festival, with Li Ting, the national-level playwright, as the playwright, and Liu Dangqing, the vice-chairman of Sichuan Musicians Association, as the composer.

It is reported that the play is based on the real life of Yi villages in the fight against poverty and rural revitalization, and is based on the real events of the "cliff village" in Liangshan Mountain. The story is based on the events of the last group of poor families who moved down the mountain and the memories of the villagers.
